Shipping of repaired components:
All items to be sent in for repair to Metriks by the client must include a completed return material authorization (RMA) form which will include an RMA number (RMA#). This form will be supplied by Metriks at the time of the request for service. Materials returned without an RMA # may be refused by Metriks. Please print the RMA# on the outside of the shipping box.
Shipping charges from the client are the responsibility of the client. Metriks is not responsible for poorly packaged items or for duty, tax or other associated courier charges from the client.
Insurance coverage:
Repair facility: Metriks maintains all appropriate insurance coverage for all items while on the Metriks premises. Full coverage for all items is applicable until the date of release of shipment. Shipments from Metriks of repaired items will be covered based on ground transportation only. Additional charges for two day or next day shipping will be the responsibility of the client unless otherwise noted. Metriks will not be responsible for duty or taxes for product shipped, but will at no charge provide the necessary custom documentation for international clients. Basic insurance from the courier will be provided – usually $100.00 per parcel. If there is a requirement for additional insurance then Metriks needs to be advised in advance of shipment and costs will be incurred by the client.
