Welcome, to the Metriks 8-week Abdometer Challenge.
The first group, starting on April 4th, 2011, includes 15 individuals ranging in age from 23 to 45. Their profiles will be available on the Metriks Challenge website, which also contains comments, weekly strength scores, and pictures of challengers and their abs.
The Abdometer is a core training device, with one strength testing mode which allows for accurate measurement of core strength, and two exercise modes. The first exercise mode is the strength mode, which provides feedback to the user in the form of a single beep once a pre-determined level of 1-10 (ranging from 65 mmHg – 210 mmHg) has been reached. The second mode is an endurance mode, which provides feedback in the form of one beep per second if the user exerts a force that is outside of the pre-determined threshold on a scale of 1-10 (ranging from 65 mmHg – 160 mmHg).
