This course has been designed to prepare Health Care Professionals to understand the Statutory Accident Benefit Schedule (SABS). The SABS is complex and navigation requires understanding of the many sections and subsections An overview of the SABS highlighting the most pertinent sections and commonly used forms will be provided.

An overview of how the insurance initiated and the health care provider initiated assessments function is included.

To provide a real world day to day understanding of how Health Care Professionals interact with the SABS, the afternoon session will include two question and answer style presentations. The first with Health Care Professional currently providing insurance initiated assessments follow by a Health Care Professional providing health care provider initiated treatment and assessments. .
